Check with your doctor before starting a new exercise program. Start with the beginner versions, use a mat on hard floors, and keep a wall or counter within reach while you learn the board.
Start where you are
Level up when you're ready
Every level adds a little more motion. Your balance, confidence and history decide where you start, not your age.
The deck on its own, closest to the floor. Gentle rocking on the end balls, weight shifts, foot placement and "walking" the board across the room.
Low, soft and adjustable. Let air out for a gentler wobble, add air for a firmer challenge, so this one level grows with you.
Four magnets lock it to the deck. Tilt every direction and spin 360°, on a grippier, more forgiving ball than our original.
Fits snugly over the green ball. A harder shell means faster reactions, quicker spins and end-ball tricks. The move when Level 3 starts to feel easy.
Level 3.5: the Stabilizer Ring. Set the black ball in the ring for training wheels, the step between the green ball and the black ball.
Solid cork, side to side. A completely different, surf-style challenge for surfers, board-sport riders and anyone who's mastered the ball.
Which board for workouts
The Whirly Complete gets harder as you get stronger. The Sport 360° is the quick, narrow agility board.

Five levels under one deck. Swap what's underneath as the moves get easier.
Pick it if

Narrow and quick, like a skate deck. Built for agility and spins.

Two things
for floor work.
Neither is required. Both make push-ups, planks and lunges on the deck easier to control.
Stops the slide$19.99
Keeps the board from sliding out from under you mid-lunge or mid-push-up. On the Whirly Complete it stores inside the green ball.
Grip + quiet$79.95
Grip for the board, cushion for your knees and hands, and a quieter floor. Use it on hard floors, not on top of carpet.

Using the board while exercising makes everything harder, really works your core.
Excellent balance board. Works lots of muscles. Unlike the balance boards on rollers, with this one you also need to balance forward and back, working additional muscles.
This board is more difficult and I would definitely recommend holding on to something when you start. So far, though, I am very pleased. The workout is low-impact but still very effective, and the portable small size takes up very little room.
In the year 2020 I didn't get out as much as I used to and my leg muscles were starting to atrophy. I was looking for a balance board to help bring back some strength when I found Whirly Board. I like it better than the other balance boards I've seen.
Even though I've never done board sports, I enjoy playing around on it while watching tv and I can feel it working my stabilizer muscles.
Challenging! Improves all board sports. I'd definitely recommend this be added in your daily exercise routines!

Whirly Complete if you want workouts that keep getting harder. You start on the soft cushion and swap to the green ball, the black ball and the Roller as you get stronger, and the foam top is soft under hands and bare feet.
Sport 360° if you train for a sport and want quick, agile footwork. For planks and push-ups, pick the cork top or lay a towel over grip tape.
Start with the beginner version of every move and keep a wall or counter within reach. The 30-day plan above starts there for you and only moves to advanced versions in week 4.
Every board also comes with a free live Getting Started class with Joanna or Erik.
Yes, once the bodyweight version feels steady. Add light dumbbells to moves like squats, lunges and the shoulder press, and go lighter than you would on the floor. Count the weights toward the board's weight rating: 400 lb on the Whirly Complete (350 lb on the green ball) and 350 lb on the Sport 360°.
For light balancing on the Whirly Complete's Foundation level, a clean, dry hard floor is fine. For spins, pivots on the end balls, the black ball and the Roller, use thin carpet or a Whirly rubber mat. Never put a rubber mat on top of carpet.
About 15 minutes: three moves and a cool-down stretch, three days a week. On the days between, a 2-minute Balance Snack keeps you on the board without wearing you out.
Yes. Build it, shuffle it and print it on this page with no account. Email delivery is optional.
It keeps the board from sliding out during lunges and push-ups. On the Whirly Complete it also makes the black ball a little steadier, and it stores inside the green ball. The Full Progression set includes one.
Ride it for 30 days, plus a week to start a return. Every board has a lifetime guarantee on materials and workmanship, and shipping is free over $99 to the Lower 48.
